Growing at Camp
With a mix of independent and organized activities, educational and recreational, our Summer Camp programming keeps students active, engaged, and learning all in a safe and welcoming environment creating lifelong memories. Activities promote teamwork, responsibility, good ethics, strategic thinking, leadership, creative and critical thinking, and problem-solving. Every week is centered on a favorite book theme helping them to explore their world, history, and imagination.
Weekly activities include: literacy, art projects, science, team games, outside activity, human hamster balls, gaga ball, water games, and special projects. Campers explore a different world each week by going on nature scavenger and treasure hunts, building boxcars and other projects, exploring imagination worlds, fort building, crafts, music, going to the local park and canal, and more. Each day brings a new challenge and project for the theme of the week and our campers!

A day at summer camp

- Campers have weekly activities based on our book\’s theme. Activities in literacy, art, team and individual games, science, and outside sports and activities, including hamster balls in the afternoon.
- A special project is new every day and includes theme related games and activities, music, science, art, architecture, theater, and more.
- Time is crafted throughout the day for campers to enjoy exploring all the SRYC has to offer in independent free time.
- Themed snacks provided during the day. Campers bring their own lunch.
- Active and calmer activities are split to keep kids energized and involved through the whole day.
- Relationships made throughout the camp week bring lifelong friends, mentors, and memories.
Prices
$250 per week for Full-Time attendance 9 am to 4 pm
Bring Towels and an Extra Change of Clothes for Water Play! (Lunch and Snacks Will Be Provided)
Special Discounts
- 10% discount if enrolled by March 31 and PAID IN FULL
- 5% discount if enrolled in April and PAID IN FULL
- 5% discount when attending 3 or more weeks full time
- 5% discount when siblings attend the same weeks of camp full time (5% for 2nd sibling, 10% for 3rd, ect.)
